This summer I received invitations to many formal events, such as weddings and bar mitzvahs, and I decided to update my evening wardrobe collection with a couple of new dresses. Usually, when I experience the “I have nothing to wear” moment, I opt in for a classic LBD and pearls (combined with my favorite red lipstick, such a look is a classic Coco Chanel style that is ultimately timeless). However, I got a bit overwhelmed with the amount of black dresses in my collection and decided to pick something classy but not too dark for my upcoming summer occasions. This dress by a Chinese-American designer Sue Wong is the perfect match for my upcoming events. It is not too thick so I can wear it when it’s 90 degrees outside and it comes in the perfect length, not too short for a formal event and not too long for a day occasion.
