Things are running fast during fashion week and oftentimes I have no time for makeup at all. While in previous years I tried to come out with a new look every single day, this season everything is different. I’m traveling to London and Paris and didn’t want to bring lots of stuff with me so I came out with a go-to makeup look that I’ll be doing during the fashion week season. It incorporates only best of the best products that I know for sure will take me through the entire day. That way, my getting ready time is faster and I’m not over packed.
Step #1: Foundation
I’ve never been a fan of stick foundations, but it all changed ever since I received a sample of Hourglass Vanish Foundation Stick in my Sephora Play box. I decided to test it simply because I remembered so many people raving about it on YouTube. And guess what? I ended up purchasing a full size of this foundation as it’s truly spectacular! Usually, I paint weird looking foundation lines all over my face and then blend them with a beauty blender. The entire process takes just a few seconds, but the result lasts all day long!
Shop: $46 at Sephora.
Step #2: Concealer
To compliment creamy foundation, I picked the newest launch from Space NK, By Terry Style Expert Click Stick Concealer. It’s a bit more yellow than I usually prefer, but somehow it works miracles on my under-eye circles. Usually, I blend it with the same beauty blender I used for the foundation.
Shop: $34 at Space NK.
Step #3: Brows
Sisley Paris just launched a series of brow products and I picked both of them for my trip. Sisley Paris Phyto-Sourcils Design Pencil features three products in one (brush, eyebrow pencil, and highlighter) which makes it an ultimate travel essential. To finish the look, I applied Sisley Paris Phyto-Sourcils Fix which is a thickening and setting tinted brow gel.
Shop: $62 pencil at Barneys and $52 brow gel at Barneys.
Step #4: Eyeshadows
It’s hard to believe, but I decided to bring with me on the trip just one eyeshadow palette, Smith & Cult Eye Quad Palette in Song for Fields, that consists of… 4 shades! I love the combination of gold and ethereal green that works perfectly for my green eyes. I start with ivory shade applied all over the lid, followed by green shade blended on the outer corners. To finish the look, I used the gold shade in the middle of the lid and on the bottom lash line.
Shop: $44 at Net-a-Porter.
Step #5: Lashes
Who has time for eyeliner while traveling? High-quality mascara to emphasize the color of my eyes is all I can commit to. Current favorite: Monsieur Big by Lancôme. If you love volumizing mascaras, it’s such a fantastic product to try! I actually have two of them in my suitcase as I’m bringing one as a gift to my mom. She will certainly enjoy it!
Shop: $25 at Lancome-USA.com.
Step #6: Contouring
Let’s talk about the ultimate multi-tasker that is perfect for traveling! It’s Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow Touch CC Luminizer in Golden Glow that combines three products in one for easy strobing and skin illuminating. With this delicious-looking stick luminizer, all you need is just one stroke and a bit of padding – and your skin looks luminous and healthy glowing.
Shop: $39 at Sephora.
Step #7: Powder
To set face makeup, I opted it for Guerlain Meteorites Birthday Candle Pearls Light-Revealing Pearls of Powder. This iconic product comes in a special case created in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Guerlain’s iconic Meteorites collection. The powder that I personally have been obsessed with ever since I was a child growing up in Russia looks like a set of the most delicate pearls of different shades. Combined together, these “pearls” offer a perfect finishing touch, so your skin reflects the light in the most natural way possible. I also brought with me softest Guerlain Meteorites Pinceau Powder Brush because it distributes a perfect amount of the product and looks so luxurious!
Shop: $58 powder at Sephora and $40 brush at Sephora.
Step #8: Lipstick
Surprise-surprise, but I’m not wearing a red lipstick today! To compliment gold and green tones of my eye and face makeup, I picked a rosy brown nude By Terry Rouge-Expert Click Stick lipstick in 04 Rose Ease. Not only I enjoy this perfect for fall shade, but I love the comfort this product delivers. The lipstick comes in a beautiful click pen that takes no space in my clutch and deeply moisturizes my lips throughout the day.
Shop: $32 at Space NK.

I love this look, that Hourglass stick foundation looks really good and I’m pleased to hear it lasts all day. I’ve tried the By Terry concealer, and I agree it’s quite yellow, but it does literally erase dark circles and stays in place really well! I’ve been wanting to try out Monsieur Big by Lancome, and it looks so great on you I’m tempted to go out and pick up a tube. Also; we have the same name! Except I spell mine with an ‘I’ x

I just did a look with the pearls and the mascara, but everything else was completely different color wise. I went for orange-golden eyeshadow and a brownish lip. Your look is very sophisticated!
