This month has been great in terms of discovering new beauty products. Whether it’s a brow product that I can’t get enough of or a cleansing oil that changed the way I remove makeup, there are so many new exciting goodies that I’d like you to try and love too. Okay, without additional introductions, let’s get into March beauty favorites.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Oil in Raspberry: I’ve been using this lip product so often that I’m almost done with the entire tube. It’s great for keeping your lips moist throughout the day, especially during the cold season where your lips could really use some all-natural oils based hydration. (Read full review on this product in my post The Best Lip Oils to Try Now).
Clare Blanc Highlighter: I know, you probably expected me naming the Nicole Guerriero x ABH Glow Kit as my favorite, but it was actually this mineral highlighter that stole my heart this month. It provides such a gorgeous glow and looks so stunning that I literally couldn’t get enough of it.
Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Bold Defining 24HR Liquid Eyeliners: I got so bored of a regular black eyeliner so those colorful ones were very handy for me. I love using a blue one in a combination with neutral eyeshadows and a nude lipstick and brown one looks so perfectly with absolutely any eye makeup look. I still use a black liquid eyeliner by the brand though as I’m loving a shiny super intense coverage it provides.
Tarte Shape Tape: I know, I’m so late to this game (mostly because my shade, Fair, was constantly sold out at Ulta), but this full-coverage is definitely worth the hype. It camouflages my under eye imperfections so impressively that I literally stopped using any other concealers from my collection.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse in Medium Brown: I purchased this brow product without any high expectations as I’ve never heard about it before, and it was a major score for my makeup collection. The product is so durable that it stays on my brows all day long without any smudges. It’s super easy one to work with too, especially because it comes in a set with such convenient angled brush and a spooley. I know that many beauty lovers are obsessed with the ABH brow gel, but in my opinion the Tarte one is a gold standard for perfect brow products.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant: When I first saw the consistency of this peel, I was intrigued as it looked like powder. The moment water touches the product, it starts developing a subtle foam which I apply on my face in circular motions. The peel works incredibly for removing the dead cells and smoothing complexion of my skin. I also love the idea that it’s gentle enough so you can use it daily.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar System Toner: I spoke on my Instagram how the Effaclar System helps me to get rid of acne and I’m happy to announce that I finally managed to get my skin balanced. While I no longer use each and every product from the line daily and predominantly apply those during those days of the month, I figured that it’s super beneficial to use a lotion at night for preventive purposes. If you have acne prone skin, I highly recommend not only this lotion, but the entire line as it’s dramatically helped me to tame my breakouts.
Erno Laszlo White Marble Cleansing Oil: I’m currently over my micellar water phase and instead prefer removing my makeup with this beautifully smelling cleansing oil. It really does a great job with removing all the makeup and keeping skin fresh and hydrated. I also appreciate the fact that it doesn’t irritate my eyes. Overall, it’s a great first step in my two-step makeup removing process.
Clarins Multi-Active Instant Eye Reviver: With all college exams and travel plans, I didn’t have much sleep this month and it started really showing up on my under the eye area. While my other eye cream did a great job with eliminating wrinkles, I felt that I needed something more, a product that will also depuff my eyes when I feel particularly tired. That’s when this beautifully packaged eye cream by Clarins came handy. Basically, it features a metallic applicator that feels cold while you are massaging your under eye area with it. This trick helps to de puff tired eyes and also prepare skin for makeup.
Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50: I wish I used this lotion all over my body when I went to Mexico because it was the only part of my body that hasn’t been sunburned (the post about this accident is coming up on the blog). In fact, I felt that my skin looked so much more hydrated after I started using this SPF lotion daily. In case you’ve never heard about Murad’s City Skin line, it’s brand’s newest launch that provides protection not only from UVA and UVB lights, but also Blue Lights from electronic devices and pollution. The product features a lightweight and easy-absorbing consistency that works great for applying under makeup. I really love that one!
Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Shampoo and Conditioner: I already raved about a heating spray from this collection and now I realized that I’m actually almost out of both shampoo and conditioner too. I haven’t shared with you the intimate details of my dry scalp that is really bothering me this winter, but those two products are really making the difference for me. I love how my hair looks and feels after using this all natural, paraben free, sulfate free, color safe products. I’ll be definitely repurchasing this set.
Dr. Hauschka Rose Nurturing Body Oil: Looking on the amount of product I already used up, you can probably tell that I really felt for this body oil. Indeed, it smells so delicious and it makes such a great job with moisturizing my skin that I literally can’t get enough of it! This all-natural body oil was extremely handy when I came back from my vacation to Tulum as I felt that it was the only product in my collection that helped me to recover my sunburn skin.
eos Hand Lotions: If you read a post about my Beauty Sleep Routine, you probably know about my new favorite ritual, massaging my hands at night to improve circulation and nourish my skin. I re-discovered those cute hand lotions by eos lately and those have been my absolute favorites in the month of March.
That’s all for today! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the products mentioned in this post. Did you have a chance to test any of them? If so, please share your opinions in the comments area below.
