Last day of New York Fashion Week is the time to make conclusions. Which trends you liked, which collection made the biggest impression, which items are you planning on purchasing or featuring on your blog, etc. One of the things that we very obvious this fashion week season is that the designers are trying to make the runway more diverse—and I love it!
When it comes to street style, I still see all the same faces and body types in online and print media… If we as a society are moving towards diversity, why not featuring real people wearing interesting clothes, instead of hunting for celebrities and models?
As you might have concluded from my coverage of this season’s fashion shows, I feel the need to move from the runway to the sidewalk and see what’s in there for us. How people express themselves, which trends are hot here and right now, how to style trendy pieces with basic ones… Street style photography gives answers to all those questions.
In this final portion of street style shots from the Spring 2017 season of New York Fashion Week, I propose to your attention a few looks that grabbed my attention. All of the photos are taken a few moments before the Anna Sui show at Skylight at Moynihan Station.
