Last weekend Ben and I went all the way to Montauk to support our friends at the launch of the OTTE pop-up store at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa. This summer, this scenic oceanfront resort launched their Summer Fashion Collective initiative and OTTE was among a few brands invited to set up their stores on the roof of the resort’s spa. In addition to an open-air retail space, OTTE also brought with them a customized airstream car where pop-up shoppers and Gurney’s guests had a chance to try new flavors by LIQs, a pre-made cocktail shots company.
For this trip to Gurney’s, I wore my new fluffy red dress by Dezzal. This flame-red dress has a touch of Taylor Swift’s classic Oscar dress to it, while being super comfy and incredibly easy to style. I mean, have you seen the cute bows on the shoulder? The best thing about this dress is that it features cutouts on the sides and back, adding a bit of sexiness to the look, but still staying in the PG-approved zone of the decolletage line.
Getting ready for a fun night out in Montauk, I was thinking of wearing wedges, but then I changed my mind and picked a pair of comfy flats instead. The versatile Dezzal dress was still a match for this (unusual for me) combo! I also spiced up this monochrome look with my new clutch by Kate Spade that I’ve been wearing on the blog non-stop (I just can’t get enough of it!). It’s so girly and witty that I truly needed it in my ensemble.
