Ever since I published this Helen Ficalora giveaway post, a lot of you guys asked where I got my pajamas from that post and requested more photos. I really value your opinion so I decided to get my sweet Lilusik involved so here comes my cute pajamas post. For your convenience, I also researched some of the best places to purchase cute pajamas this holiday season so I also list in this post all of my favorite picks.
I’ve never been a pajamas kind of person, but since we are spending so much time in the Hamptons this fall and winter, I figured that it might be the time. The temperature out East is way colder than in New York and there is something incredibly cozy and comforting in lighting the fire while wearing a comfy and cute flannel PJs. I know that some people organize entire Binge-Watching-Netflix parties where the dress code is pajamas, but I’m not there quite yet. However, who knows what might happen this holiday season! 😉
Where to find the best pajamas this holiday season?
If you have been reading this blog for a while, you know that my favorite stores to shop online are Shopbop, Kate Spade and Nordstrom. When it comes to pajamas though, there are other retailers to consider, such as Anthropologie, ASOS, Forever 21, J. Crew, Macy’s, H&M, American Eagle, and Amazon. I know, it might be confusing to see so many recommendations at one place, so I rounded up some of my most favorite picks for you. All of the images are shoppable, so if you like any of these styles, simply click on the link to be redirected to the retailer website.
What to look for in pajamas?
Personally, I believe that long pants pajamas are the most comfortable for the holiday season. Usually, I prefer wearing shorts when I’m at home, but again the cold East Hampton weather has changed my preferences so I actually opted in for fleece. This fabric might sounds like it’s never look elegant, but I think it’s not the case with this adorable pajamas set by Kate Spade. Saying so, I would suggest going for cute prints that turn this at-home piece of clothes almost into a fashion statement. Well, I am saying that I’m planning on wearing my PJs in public, but at least I feeling that I look cute while at home with Ben or when opening the doors for deliveries.
I wonder what do you think about wearing pajamas in the house? Is it a some sort of fashion faux pas for you?
