At the age of 11, when I came back home from summer vacation at grandma’s, and my classmates asked me a question, “What type of music do you like, rap or punk?” I spent three months in the country reading Honoré de Balzac and Émile Zola and was not aware of the current trends (hello, pre-Internet era). I said ‘punk’ because that word seemed to be a bit more familiar and my friends happily lent me a Sex Pistols record.
To make a long story short, I was not impressed with that kind of music and decided that the emerging hip-hop movement is closer to me. My comeback to rock and punk culture happened later in life, when I started appreciating black color in clothing. To be honest, black color is still dominant in my wardrobe (check out, for instance, my Ode to Black to confirm that). However, the outfit that you see on those photos is more than just all black outfit. I believe that it is totally glam rock. Do you agree?
