It’s the weirdest thing to admit to someone, but I’m a lip balm addict. I’m not joking while saying that I literally reapply my lip products every hour or so as I simply can’t stand the feel and appearance of chapped lips. It has to be mentioned too though that for me moisturizing my lips is more than just applying your typical ChapStick. No, I’m a lip balm connoisseur and in this post, I’ll be sharing my top 10 ride or die lip balms that I’m so addicted to.
Kopari Lip Love // This coconut-based lip balm looks like a clear lip gloss but doesn’t feel sticky at all. It’s super hydrating and smells so great that I want to eat it! This formula is also great if you already have chapped lips as this lip balm will not strike the skin and just melt on top of the chapped situation to make your lips softer and smoother.
Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 // If wearing lipstick every day is not something that you consider doing on a regular basis because of the application hassle, try this tinted lip product that not only deeply hydrates your lips but also makes them look just a bit brighter and juicier.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Oil // Technically, this product looks like a shiny lip gloss, but in reality, it’s the best lip treatment that you could wear in public. Each of the slightly tinted products deeply hydrates your lips and makes them softer, thanks to the mix of organic oils that these lip oils are formulated with.
Eve Lom Kiss Mix Colour // Let’s put it out there: I’m not a fan of lip products in a jar as I don’t like picking up the product with my fingertips. But I make an exception for this specific lip product as it makes miracles to the condition of my lips and features a tiny cooling effect that I especially enjoy during the warm season.
Burt’s Bees Moisturizing Lip Balm in Mango // In my humble opinion, it’s the absolutely best all-natural lip balm for chapped lips that you could find at the drugstore. It features a rich hydrating formula and it smells like mangos — what else to ask for in a perfect lip balm?
Too Faced La Crème Lip Balm // Technically, it’s a lipstick, but it features such buttery and rich formula that it feels like two-in-one kind of product: nourishing lip balm and a creamy lipstick. I have a few shades of this product in my collection and plan on purchasing each and every shade as the brand continues to expand the color range.
Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips // Okay, I know that petrolatum is not the most natural product to use on your lips, but I can’t stop myself using this super rich lip product. In fact, I apply it every single night — to wake up with perfectly hydrated and soft lips!
Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 // I steal this balm from my boyfriend Ben every time I have such option because it’s the best healing product for when my lips are already damaged (like, after swatching the entire line of lipsticks).
Lipstick Queen Mornin’ Sunshine Lipstick // This lipstick is magical: it looks yellow, but it applies pink. It also does miracles to your lips, making them super soft and plump — all while providing a beautiful, natural looking tint.
Maybelline Baby Lips Color Balm Crayon // These lip balms are a bit more bright than I prefer, but these definitely work in terms of hydrating and softening the lips. Also, you can’t beat the price of these colorful balms!
That was a roundup of my favorite lip balms. I wonder if you tried any of these yourself? If so, please share your opinions with the Style Sprinter community. Also, feel free to share your favorite lip balm products in the comments area below!
