August Beauty Favorites: Luxury Edition

Today I’m doing something different with my monthly beauty favorites post as I decided to concentrate specifically on luxury items. The format is still the same — I share reviews of the products that I used and loved the most during the month of August, but be prepared that the price point for these products is a bit out there. The reason for such change is because I feel that I personally purchase more luxury beauty purchase at the end of summer and I guess you might do the same. Saying so, I hope you find this roundup helpful. If so, please leave your feedback in the comments area below. Also please let me know if you’d like to read a post about my favorite drugstore products.

Kevyn Aucoin Making Faces Beauty Book

I’ve been experimenting with lots of versatile palettes as I need to find one to take with me for the upcoming trip to Europe. Making Faces Beauty Book by Kevyn Aucoin is the one I loved the most from the excessive list of other options. Basically, it’s a three-in-one kind of palette that contains three “chapters” of makeup products under one cover. Chapter 1 is contouring palette, chapter 2 is blush and outer corners eyeshadows, and chapter 3 is an eyeshadow palette. All three palettes are united under one mirrored cover which makes it the most convenient makeup set to travel with. Not to mention that each and every product from the Beauty Book follows Kevyn Aucoin’s consistently impeccable quality of products.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Shimmering Oil Spray and La Mer The Glowing Body Oil

I know, it sounds excessive to include two products under the same category, but I honestly cannot decide which one I love more. Both products feature such gorgeous pigment that momentarily transforms my pale self into a tanner version of myself. In other words, I no longer can imagine my summer without these shimmering oils!

Lancome Dual Finish Highlighter in 01 Shimmering Buff

Being a self-proclaimed highlighter connoisseur, I have to say that this line of highlighters is one of the most shimmery ones I’ve ever tested (and I tested a lot of highlighters throughout my blogging career!). The product provides such gorgeous glow that I can’t stop staring at it! Whether you pick to apply it with a fan brush or a sponge that comes in a set, the effect is so spectacular that you’ll definitely love this product! If you are #HighlightToTheGods kind of person, you’ll absolutely love this product!

Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Intense Foundation

I was always fascinated with cushion foundations, but until recently I found just a few truly good ones. This cushion foundation by the luxury Korean skincare brand Sulwhasoo is actually is not just good, but a perfect one! It’s so lightweight and quickly absorbing that you can’t feel it on your skin. Even though the coverage feels light, this foundation actually camouflages all of the skin imperfections and make your skin look healthy and glowing. An important moment is that the product contains SPF 50 which is the biggest sun protection I’ve ever seen in a cushion foundation.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix

If you remember my blog post about Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair line, you know that’s I’m loving and continuously using the majority of products from this line. The Eye Concentrate Matrix is a new addition to the line that targets dark under eye circles, fine lines and wrinkles, and puffiness. This hyaluronic acid based eye serum is everything you need to repair sensitive under eye area while you are sleeping. I’ve been using the serum for more than a month and I absolutely love the results!

Nannette de Gaspe The Uplift Revealed: Coffret

You know that I’m a face masks addict, but when it comes to using body masks I’m a newbie. However, after using these super luxurious bust and tush masks by Nannette de Gaspe I don’t understand why I’ve been waiting for so long! Even though I’m working out and eating healthy when summer comes I still feel insecure about my body and special rituals like plumping and lifting my bikini-ready parts is the most relaxing and confidence-building moments.

Smith & Cult B Line Eye Pen in Republic of Splendor

You know that I use eyeliner daily, but this luxurious product is nothing I’ve ever experienced before. While the quality of the product is the exact same as other liquid liners by Smith & Cult, the shade of this liner is spectacular! I have green eyes and the dark emerald shade of this product emphasizes my eye color in the best light possible.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

I talked about this palette on the blog before, but I couldn’t expect it becoming my absolute favorite palette of summer 2017. Considering how enormous my makeup collection is, such instances are happening very rarely — which proves one more time that this warm shades palette is an absolute gem. By the way, if you haven’t already, check out my makeup tutorial featuring the Heat Palette.

L’Occitane Terre De Lumiere Fragrance

Maybe it’s inspired by my upcoming vacation in France, but I’ve been loving this fragrance featuring lavender, honey and almond notes from the South of France. This scent is so delicious that I should include it in my post Top 10 Perfumes of All Times.

Buy: $79 and $99 at the L’Occitane website.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Glow Lipstick in Sun Blush

I know, it’s hard to believe, but I prefer wearing nude lipstick shades in summer — but there is no doubt that I’ll come back to my signature red lipstick look when the fall comes! This gorgeously glittery nude lipstick shade by Estee Lauder has been my go-to product this summer, as it combines two of my favorite features in one: deep lip hydration and a perfectly pigmented glittery lip shade.

Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara

When it comes to mascaras, the volumizing effect is what I value the most. That’s why this highly pigmented and super durable mascara has been one of my favorites. It instantly adds volume to my lashes and stays on my lashes throughout my summer adventures. I’ve never experienced any flaking or smudging with this product, that’s why I can’t recommend it enough.
