Bad weather is not fun, and it certainly does not inspire fashion experiments. Or does it? With these nasty weather essentials, you might be surprised to learn that rainy or snowy day is actually a perfect opportunity to shine your brightest — style-wise! I recently discovered these goodies myself and can’t recommend them enough.
I had this item of clothing – a cute raincoat – on my wishlist for the longest time. But I just never saw anything that looks even approximately as elegant as this one. I found this piece during The Outnet sale and couldn’t be happier – the quality is so impeccable! And I’m just loving the idea of having not just any but a leopard raincoat.
It was not until Sorel’s fashion show where I participated in when I finally tried a pair of Sorel boots. Oh man, I’ve been missing out for so many years! The boots are perfectly warm and waterproof – not to mention walkable. I picked mine in blush (aka my favorite color) and now they totally brighten up my day even on the gloomiest day ever.
Designer’s iconic wrap dress – but in the softest cashmere ever? Yes, please! Wrap me up two. I love styling this gorgeous cashmere wrap dress with a turtleneck for an even warmer and cozier feel. And yes, you can totally use it as a luxurious cashmere bathrobe that you can cozy up in while at home.
I purchased this classy camel cashmere scarf years ago and never really wore it. But then, when I figured to style it with my new favorite trenchcoat, I can’t get enough of it. It’s big, it’s cozy, and it’s so soft. These are definitely the qualities I’m looking for in a perfect nasty weather scarf.
I just can’t stop raving about the quality of Zara’s bodysuits! These are so affordable (under $20) and incredibly soft. I wear them both as a top with my high-waisted jeans, and underneath cashmere sweaters.
