Urban Decay Elements Eyeshadow Palette - Review

Urban Decay Elements Eyeshadow Palette

I haven’t swatched this palette yet, but I’m ready to give it “The Best Packaging Design of 2018” award. Heavy-duty and sparkly, this four elements inspired palette features 19 new multidimensional pigments, located in an orbit-shaped style. We don’t see Becca eyeshadow launches too often which makes it even more special when it happens. The latest Becca palette features 12 creamy eyeshadows in 3 finishes: ultra-matte, shimmer, and molten metallic. What makes it even more unique is that it features a natural mineral crystal, Black Tourmaline, that offers “superior layering power and blendability.” I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to test this palette out.

Shade Range: Cloud (matte bone), volcanic sand (matte light peach), granite (matte neutral taupe), gilded (molten metallic gold), diamond dust (molten metallic cream w/ gold and pink pearls), haze (shimmering mauvy rose gold), red rock (soft shimmering maroon), lava (molten metallic copper), agate ash (shimmering taupey grey), crater (deep shimmering stone), hematite (shimmering gunmetal), and midnight sapphire (shimmering midnight blue).

Molton Brown – the Jasmine & Sun Rose CollectionPhoto via Molton Brown

Molton Brown’s Jasmine & Sun Rose Collection

You know that the collection is amazing when the majority of items goes out of stock the day it launched. That’s exactly what happened with Molton Brown’s latest fragrance addition, Jasmine & Rose Eau de Toilette. The “nose” that stands behind this bold, yet feminine creation is the world-renowned British fragrance artist Rhea Thierstein. The fragrance artist describes the scent as “very feminine, modern and playful.”

The scent features top notes of raspberry, bergamot, and peach. Supported by heart notes of jasmine, osmanthus, and rose. From the background, the scent delivers notes of sun rose, patchouli, and mus.

Product Line: Eau de Toilette in 1.7 oz and 3.3 oz. ($65 and $100); Bath & Shower Gel ($32); Bathing Oil ($65); Body Lotion ($42); and 2 Gift Sets (Body Wash + Lotion for $74 and Body Wash + Perfume for $97).

Launch Date: September 4.

Victoria’s Secret Tease Rebel Collection

Victoria’s Secret Tease Rebel Collection

Last week, Victoria’s Secret “Angel” Taylor Hill presented the new fragrance collection that is described by the brand as “a rebellious floral.” The sentiment is emphasized by the bottle design that looks feminine and cute, but definitely with an edge.

The new scent features a unique bouquet of Wild Rose and two types of Violets tied in white leather. Personally, I would describe the new VS fragrance as floral with a hint of soft musk. I love that type of scents: sweet, but not overly girly!

Product Line: Tease Rebel Eau de Parfum ($55), Fragrance Mist ($25), Fragrance Lotion ($25), Rollerball Eau de Parfum ($18), and Mini Fragrance Mist ($15).
