Katya Bychkova wearing Delirius Design dress

As promised, here comes a photo set taken in our apartment. It is getting really cold in New York, so you will be see more and more indoors photo shoots. I hope you don’t mind. Thanks to everyone who tried to guess what type of shoes I was wearing with this designer dress. I actually picked simple open-toe pumps by BCBG so they do not distract attention from the dress and my statement necklace. In my previous post I mentioned that this dress was designed by my friends, and now I am happy to announce the names of my amazing friends. Please welcome Iyra Paboikina and Katya Patsukevich that collaborate behind the brand Delirius Design.  I have a couple of dresses by Delirius in my collection and will be sharing them with you soon.

What is your approach to purchasing pieces by emerging fashion designers? Do you support young talents or prefer to buy from the established brands?

  • Flawless photos! Such a lovely dress 🙂

  • Gloss you are gorgeous Katya! Love the dress 🙂

  • Robyn

Ahh your dress is so beautiful! There is nothing quite like a classic little black dress 🙂

To your question on the bottom I’m a huge fan of supporting small businesses and established ones. When things are made by young talent they are made with their blood, sweat and tears and that means something!

    • Yep, people that are just starting usually invest more effort in their products as opposed to established designers that mass-produce their ideas. This is just one of the reasons why these emerging brands deserve our attention.

  • You are stunning! I wish I could rock a red lip as good as you.
And to answer your question- I support both small businesses and larger ones. All depends on their product, method of delivery, and talent! 🙂

    • Come on, Jenny! I read your blog and see that you rock not only red lipstick but any other shade as well. That is one of the reasons I

      • Ahh you’re so nice Katya! Thanks so much! I’m so happy I discovered your blog- it’s one of my new favorites! 🙂

  • You look absolutely stunning, Katya. And to answer your question, I’ll support whoever that offers the best quality. I do love to support young and new talents though, I think it’s nice to help give them a boost that they need, all of us started from somewhere.

    Reflection of Sanity

    • That’s a great approach to fashion, Shireen! It is very difficult to make it in fashion, especially for designers, and without bloggers support it is close to impossible. Young designers need our support and I am always happy to help them as much as I can.

  • loved your necklace

    • Thank you, Shireen! I also judge designers according to the quality of the product, not its brand name. Yep, young talents deserve our support!

  • Thank you! ❤️

I am confused. Does the dress flatter you or does your wonderful curves enhance the look of the dress?

  • Ellen Smith

OH MY GOD! This is absolutely stunning.
You look so sophisticated and gorgeous in the dress.
    I love the open back.
