Friday Five: Embroidered Dress

embroidered dresses for summer 2016

Whether it is bohemian or preppy, embroidered dresses take streets of New York by storm. From supermodels to regular fashionistas, everyone seems to get crazy about ornament decorated dresses that are looking so fresh and inspiring. While most of such pieces are not embroidered by hand, I do appreciate the idea of adding splendid DIY details on the cuffs, collars, or shoulders. For this episode of Friday Five series, I picked five most inspiring embroidered dress that are on my radar. Actually, I already purchased one of them—let me know in the comments which one, in your opinion, is already in my collection and ready to be photographed?

#1: One by Bardot Santorini Dress

#2: Tularosa Giles Dress

#3: Raga Santorini Dress

#4: Endless Rose Embroidered Dress

  • #5 is so stunning! I love it. I have a kimono that has that sort of look about it. I don’t wear many dresses because it’s sooo windy in Souther Nevada. haha Marilyn Monroe moment 90% of the time in the hotter months.

    • Awww too bad it’s always windy… I can’t imagine my life without dresses! In my opinion, it’s one of the most versatile outfits you can wear. Put on a pretty dress and it will bring you from office to a party and everything in between! Well, perhaps that’s why I have so many dresses in my collection LOL

Yes, #5 is a dream! It’s sold out in my size, but I keep an eye on when it’s back in stock!

      What’s your go-to outfit, Amanda?

      • My go to is probably black or medium wash skinny jeans, a vintage band t-shirt, a sweater or leather jacket, and boots. I used to work for a music promotion company so that developed my style a bit.
