Beach season is around the corner and I am trying to get in shape and eat healthier. While my recently discovered love for ice cream somewhat slows down my fitness goals, I still manage to hit the gym a few times per week and occasionally work out at home (did you know how many great workout videos are available for free on YouTube?). To jump start my fitness goals, I recently purchased a few items that I’d like to share with you. All of those essentials proved to work for me so I hope those will inspire you to work towards your workout goals too.

Okay, here is the list of my favorite fitness essentials that are cute enough to serve as fitness motivation:

#1: Fitbit Blaze Smart Fitness Watch: My friend Nina purchased this watch as a replacement of her previous FitBit and immediately recommended it to me. I was so excited to hear about all of the fitness goals that Nina was able to achieve with the watch that I ordered it on Amazon and now I am the biggest FitBit fan too. This device allows you to track steps, workouts, calories, weight, pulse, and sleep in the most efficient way. In my opinion, it’s a must-have tool for people that are working from home as the watch forces you to keep moving instead of starring at your laptop all day long. Also, once you know how many more calories is in food you love, you’ll think twice before eating that extra piece of gluten-free cake.

#2: Ringside Gel Wraps: I hurt my wrists a few times while boxing before I purchased those wraps, but now I am totally protected. The best thing about those wraps is that you don’t need to spend a lot of time while prepping your wrists for the workout (as it often happens with cotton wraps). Also, those provide additional support to the knuckles, thanks to shock-absorbing gel inserts.

#3: MCS Compression Tights by 2XU: Those are my favorite leggings as they are equipped with inserts that leave marks on your body while you workout so you know exactly which muscles have been involved. You probably remember my post where I reviewed those tights for the first time and honestly I haven’t find any better option since then. As many of you noticed, tights are expensive, but I feel that this gear is still a great investment as they are very durable and will last forever.

#4: Asics Women’s GEL Noosa Tri 10 Running Shoes: I purchased those sneakers as a replacement of my Adidas kicks that were hurting my toenails. This time, I picked my running shoes a half-size bigger (they ran small so technically it was a one size bigger) and I couldn’t have been happier. Those happen to be super comfy and lightweight. Also, I love this colorful design as it allows me to wear those kicks with so many different outfits, whether I am working out at the gym or walking in Central Park with Lilusik.

#5: Vitafusion Multivites Plus Hair, Skin and Nails Support: I noticed that I am more likely to take my vitamins if they are made in a chewable form so I switched to this multivitamin complex. It contains a bit less sugar than many other options and I always purchase it on Amazon as the price there is almost twice less expensive than in any pharmacy.

#6: Magic Bullet NutriBullet 12-Piece High-Speed Blender/Mixer System: We’ve been using this blender for a few years now and I totally love it. It literally takes a few seconds to turn fruits and veggies into a nutritious smoothie or a protein shake so look nowhere else if you are looking for a kitchen gadget that will motivate you to drink more greens.

#7: NAK Fitness Speed Jump Rope: There are many jump ropes available at my gym, but I prefer having my own as it’s always adjusted for my height. Also, I am planning on bringing it to the Hamptons in summer as an alternative workout option, as running all the time could get boring.

#8: Zensufu Back Pain Relief Acupressure Massage Mat: My favorite workout, boxing, is one of the most traumatic sports you can think of. Almost every week I am hurting myself and this relaxation mat is one of the things that brings me back to life. Our friend Filip who is a avid marathoner and triathloner recommended this mat and I’ve been using it daily since then.

#9: Zella ‘Curve’ Sports Bra: I have a few sport bras by Zella as those are the most comfy for me and provide the best support. Don’t get discouraged by the fact that some of the designs feature ‘extra’ straps, as those do not leave any extra marks on your body.

  2. Those compression tights look amazing. It would be so cool to be able to see what areas you have hit that day. Boxing is my favorite exercise too! I do it every week and find it amazing. My Nutri-Bullet is an essential of mine as well, I use it so much!

  3. I really want the Blaze, I have the normal fitbit but doesn’t half compare to that one. I haven’t heard anything about those tights before but they sound amazing! x

    • I agree, the Blaze is amazing! I love that it is also a watch which is really handy.

      However, please keep in mind that this product is not waterproof so you can’t do swimming or track any other water-related activities with it. Otherwise, it’s perfect!

    • Wow it’s my goal to go to the gym daily but I guess I am too lazy for that ;D Yes, NutriBullet is my fav thing ever! Today I blended some raw almonds in it and added this almond powder to my oatmeal. So yum! I highly recommend it!
