Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream Review

Remember my last year’s struggles with my skin? I am happy to announce that things are going much better now. Recently, I had a Botox treatment and a few at-home facials. I also changed my skincare routine and added some anti-aging products. I already posted about two of the changes and today I am collaborating with Lovely Skin to share with you my thoughts on Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream 0.2 (c/o).

The Promise

In short, Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream is a Retinol based product that targets three major concerns: blemishes (that’s my main concern), fine lines (not a big deal after I had Botox), and dark spots (I have a few on my forehead). According to the brand, the product helps to make your skin smoother and brighter—all that while erasing wrinkles and improving the skin tone.

The Process

As per application directions, it’s important to train your skin before you start using the product. First, you have to apply the cream every other night and then (if your skin can take it) use it more often. I tried a sample of prescription Retin-A a few years ago and my skin was sensitive to it. That is why this time I made sure to apply the tiniest amount of the product and never leave the house without my SPF cream.

In addition to Lumixyl, I used the following products:

Anti-Aging Beauty Routine

#1: Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion SPF 30 #2: Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser #3: Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream #4: Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask Probiotic (twice a week) #5: Clarins Toning Lotion with Camomile #6: Clinique Sculptwear Serum (I used it as a night cream at nights in between Lumixyl applications)

The Result

It’s been about two weeks since I started using the product and so far I didn’t feel any dryness or discomfort with my skin. In opposition, it felt so well moisturized that I didn’t feel that I needed to apply a foundation. I just camouflaged a few spots with the concealer, applied my eye and lips makeup and was ready to go.

I’ve seen some promising images of how your skin could change after 12 weeks of using Lumixyl, but I think two weeks of trial is not enough to talk about long-term results. All I can tell now is that my skin feels and looks much better than it used to be. I hope I will not develop any skin irritation in future so I can continue improving my skin with Lumixyl.

* In opposition to Retina-A that requires a visit to a dermatologist and regular prescriptions, Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream is available for purchase online so you can not only improve your skin with a retinol-based cream, but also save some cash.

* Lumixyl cream seems to be gentler than Retin-A so there is a smaller chance that it might cause skin irritation.

* Lumixyl cream is more expensive than Retin-A (if you purchase it without the prescription). However, you can receive 25% off Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream via this link.

* Your skin is more prone for sun damage when you are using this product so you need to invest in a good sunscreen.

The Conclusion

Since I started using the cream I do like my skin much better. It seems to have less visible pores, it’s smoother and better moisturized, and it has no dry patches. I feel that I finally doing something right as I don’t need to hide my skin under the foundation. Without doubt, I will continue using Lumixyl Trifecting Night Cream.
