I wrapped myself as a gift for Valentine’s Day! I’m joking, of course—but that’s exactly how I felt while making a bow on this lace top. I was never the best gift wrapper, but when it comes to clothes draping I could spend hours arranging and re-arranging things because I love it so much!

I wonder what you think about these pants? I recently purchased these at Shopbop and I can’t stop wearing them! They are not the most comfortable when you are walking as the ruffle part sort of goes on your way, but they are incredibly comfortable and flattering otherwise. Not to mention romantic and unique looking! I would not say that these trousers are necessarily “neutral” but the color black makes them so easy to style with many different tops and jackets. I wore the same pair the other night with a black turtleneck and a black jacket and they look super cute but completely different!

For years I remember opting in for girly dresses only to celebrate Valentine’s Day but this time around I feel that ruffles and pants might look even more romantic than your typical pink lace dress. I wonder if you think the same? Or Valentine’s Day is a lace dress only kind of occasion?
