Vintage Situation

I often say that vintage is not my thing, but as it turns out I am not completely against it. This week I finally managed to organize a huuuuggge wardrobe cleaning and put aside tons of outfits that I don’t wear anymore. Usually I donate my old clothes to the Salvation Army or Housing Works, but this time I decided to follow my friend’s advice and try a new for me place called Buffalo Exchange. Basically, it is a store where you can bring your old clothes, receive a store credit, and pick up some new pieces brought by other people. I visited the Chelsea location where I traded two cute dresses in exchange for two pairs of shoes, a dress, and a top. In my opinion, it was not a bad deal at all!

Q: Do you like vintage shopping (and why)? What is your best vintage find ever?

  • I love this look! It is adorable! I love vintage style clothes although buying used gives me the heebee jeebees for some reason. I know it really shouldn’t but for now I just stick to new that look like old 🙂

  • Oh Katya, you look so beautiful in the first picture with your smiling wide! That dress looks absolutely lovely on you!

I adore polka dots! They are one of the few patterns that I have loved since I was little. I can never get enough of them. You look too cute! I too love vintage style.
