Yellow is the New Black

New York Fashion Week has just wrapped up, and it is obvious that the color yellow is one of designers’ favorites for the Spring 2015 season. Carolina Herrera, Nanette Lepore, and Tracy Reese all use the color of the sun in their collections especially well and have provided us with some mellow yellow inspiration that we can follow now, while it is still warm outside.

I wore this dress both during the day and at the party and I feel that yellow is truly a universal color that works in almost every situation.

In other words, yellow is the new black for the upcoming season, and I have already started updating my wardrobe with pieces in this sunny color.
