My previous post on best luxury perfumes for women went viral on Pinterest and I figured it’s a good indication that it’s time to write an update on it. Especially because recently I added a few new but already beloved scents to my fragrance collection. If you find something that excites you on this list, send this link to your significant other so he or she could use it as a gift idea for your Birthday or any holiday.
BEST FLORAL SCENT
Guerlain Mon Guerlain
$72-130 at Sephora
I would describe this scent as a mature floral. There are definitely some fruity and floral infusions involved, but they don’t feel too girly.
It’s a very universal and expensive smelling fragrance that I wear throughout the day as my Girl Boss statement.
NOTES: Jasmine, Lavender, Vanilla.
BEST ROSE SCENT
Maison Lancôme Rôses Berberanza Eau de Parfum
$198 at Lancome
In my fragrance vocabulary, there are scents for special occasions and scents for the day and night.
This Lancôme fragrance is definitely a nighttime scent. I wear it for the night out so this luxurious and exclusive perfume wraps me up for the entire night.
NOTES: Rose Centifolia.
BEST ROMANTIC SCENT
Cartier Baiser Volé
$99-135 at Nordstrom
The name of this fragrance means “stolen kiss” and I totally understand why. It’s so unexpected but memorable scent that I can’t stop wearing!
NOTES: Rose Centifolia.
Cartier Baiser Volé // The name of this fragrance means “stolen kiss” and I totally understand why: it’s so unexpected but memorable scent that I can’t stop wearing!
Maison Lancôme Rôses Berberanza Eau de Parfum // In my fragrance vocabulary there are scents for special occasions and scents for the day and night. This Lancôme fragrance is definitely a nighttime scent: I wear it for the night out so this luxurious and exclusive perfume wraps me up for the entire night.
Viktor & Rolf Magic Liquid Diamonds // When I feel creative and inspired, I put on a spritz of this bouji and unique fragrance. I love the super “extra” name of this perfume and it does make me feel like a Marylin Monroe, showering in a bathtub of diamonds. Don’t you feel inspired just imagining it?
L’Occitane Terre de Lumiere // I fell into this fragrance at the beginning of last year and my affection re-appeared during the holidays when the brand came out with a holiday packaging. It’s elegant, sunny, and so chic—it reminds me of my trip to France every time I spritz it!
Missoni Eau de Toilette // I reviewed this fragrance on the blog last year, and I continue coming back to that scent over and over again. It’s sensual, uber-feminine and so luxurious—no wonder I can’t get enough of it!
Lancôme La Vie Est Belle L’Eclat // The name of this fragrance means “life is beautiful” in French and this beautiful classy scent does make you feel that way about your life! It’s a feminine and chic scent that I wear for special occasions, especially when I’m wearing a beautiful dress.
Mugler Aura // I had the honor to attend the launch of this quintessentially fashionable scent and I’m the biggest fan ever since! The exact thing happened with Angel: Mugler fragrances are so recognizable that the moment you find your favorite you just can’t get it out of your head!
Diptyque Vetyverio// I’ve been wearing this scent religiously all winter long as it was the first woody scent that ever caught my attention. It’s rich, unique and memorizing — once you tried it you will never forget this scent. I’m not sure if it’s the best pick for summer, but for now, that’s the scent I’m wearing the most often.
