You would think it’s summer, and I’ll have more time to catch up on sleep. But it’s just not happening. I stay late at night and then feel sleepy during the day. As a result, my dark under-eye circles are out of control. Today, I share five more tips and tricks on how to get rid of bags under the eyes in the most efficient way possible.
How to Use Tea Bags on Eyes

I’ve heard about the benefits of using tea bags on eyes. And it was not until recently when I finally decided to give this tip a go.
Green tea is rich in antioxidants and tannins that help to lighten the dark circles. It also contains caffeine that helps to reduce puffiness.
You don’t need any specific type of green tea to make this trick work. Just reuse tea bags from your morning’s cup of tea and place it under your eyes for 5-10 minutes.
Best Eye Cream for Bags and Puffiness

While all of the do-it-yourself tips are great and help to fix the problem fast, without proper skincare regimen, all these recipes are useless.
You could cover yourself in green tea bags and rice paper masks, but if you don’t use a good eye cream, you’ll never see the results.
Recently, I’ve been using and loving Elemis Ultra Smart Pro-Collagen Eye Cream Duo. This luxury under-eye cream combo is designed to fight the around eye wrinkles and help with the under-eye circles.
Best Under Eye Concealer

If you don’t have time for any of the tricks and products that I mentioned before, use an excellent high-end concealer to camouflage the problem area.
One of the best concealer for dark under-eye circles is Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Super Natural Concealer.
It’s one of the most lightweight and full coverage products that blur any discolorations and provides a flawless finish.
Chamomile Ice

I’m not the biggest fan of using anything cold on my skin, but the ice trick works for my under-eye circles.
Usually, I freeze a special batch of chamomile ice for the problem area as it helps to reduce swelling and help with puffy eyes.
I just add some chamomile tea into the ice freezing form and wait until it’s set.
Then, I’ll use one chamomile tea cube in the morning before washing my face.
Rice Paper Under Eye Mask
For centuries, rice paper is one of the most effective products to brighten up and moisturize your skin. It’s also an important “beauty product” in Russian natural skincare where it’s known for its under-eye brightening properties.
This affordable sheet mask recipe in one of the best examples of how to incorporate rice into your beauty routine.
Rice Paper
Cut rice paper into quarters and place each piece of rice paper in warm almond milk for one minute.
Don’t put them together, so they don’t stick to one another.
Application
Apply each piece of rice paper under each eye area and let the mask work for 15 minutes.
