Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow in 747 Mediterraneen
This limited-edition eyeshadow palette was the most exciting new launch for me. The subtle, delicate warm-tone palette features four hues inspired by the Mediterranian flora. Glowy, sun-kissed shades of this palette appealed to me, a green-eyed creature, as I knew that earthy tones will strategically emphasize the features that nature supplied me with.
If you are not familiar with Chanel eyeshadows, the pigment of this exquisite palette is so dainty and smooth that it melts into your skin to create a sparkly from within look.
Highly blendable and long-wearing, Les 4 Ombres 747 Mediterraneen is an ideal palette to create a bronzy smokey eye look. Or combine the sunlit shades with matte, neutral eyeshadows from your collection to create a sophisticated everyday or nighttime look. It’s also an exceptional palette to bring on your next beach vacation. All glowy hues are perfect to apply with your fingertips for a sparkly yet subtle dinner-out occasion.
Shades: shimmering beige, golden peach, copper pink, and bronze chocolate.

Chanel Blush Lumiere in Peche Rosee
From all the luxury beauty blushes, Chanel blush powders are always on top of my list. The bendability, long-lasting coverage, and natural-looking results always appeal to me when it comes to Chanel blushes. The new illuminating Blush Lumier powder in Peche Rosee was not an exception.
The new Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 blush features a subtle but buildable coverage that lasts all day. The packaging, as always, is superb. I also enjoyed the applicator brush which reminds me of a typical Chanel highlighter brush rather than a blush brush.
When it comes to the hue, it was more of a peachy shade rather than my typical favorite baby pink. While the color worked perfectly in a combination with lip balms from Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 collection, it was not as flattering for my complexion as other Chanel blushes.
Shades: Peche Rosee and Brun Rossi.
Chanel Rouge Coco Balm
When it comes to the new Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 lipstick collection, I wanted to try all the corals and reds. And, of course, the transparent lip balm; it’s crucial during the cold NYC weather. My first impression was positive: all tinted lip balm shades that I selected provided a subtle coverage and hydrating finish. I noticed, however, that the clear balm does leave a whitish residue that I didn’t expect.
918 My Rose is my favorite from the collection. It’s a gorgeous rosy hue that features some barely-there sparkly pigments.
916 Flirty Coral is a perfect combo for the new blush from the Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 line. It’s very summery and neutral enough to wear with various makeup looks.
920 In Love is more of a statement hue rather than a tinted lip balm. The pigment is certainly there but it’s most subtle than your typical moisturizing lipstick.
912 Dreamy White gave me the futuristic vibes that I did not necessarily expect. The white hue is visible on your lips, which is an interesting take on the lip balm. But for my complexion, this shade made me look extra tired and alien-like.
Overall, the colored version of Chanel Rouge Coco is beautiful everyday tinted lip balm formula. It’s somewhere in between your typical lip balm and moisturizing lipstick. Don’t expect tons of added hydration, but it’s also much less drying than lipstick.
Shades: 912 Dreamy White, 914 Natural Charm, 916 Flirty Coral, 918 My Rose, 920 In Love, 922 Passion Pink, and 924 Fall For Me.
Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick
Typically, I’m not a fan of multi-usage beauty products. Similar to fashion, “one size fits all” to me means the item doesn’t fit perfectly anyone. But the Baume Essentiel Glow Stick in Ensoleille from the Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 collection happened to be a lucky exception. I enjoyed using it both as a highlighter and as an extra something on top of my blush. As a lip balm, it was a stunning little bit of added color too.
From all the glow sticks I’ve ever tried, this color option seemed to be the most versatile. In addition to the already mentioned usage options, I can see myself applying it on my eyelids, cheeks, and lips to create a trendy monochrome look. Or blend it on my color bones during the warm season so emphasize that sensual area of a woman’s body with added subtle glow.
Shades: Ensoleille is the newest shade in the collection; also available in Golden Light, Sculpting, Rosee, Or, Printanier, and Pearlescent.

Ombre Premiere Laque in 46 Lumier
Another fun product discovery from the Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 collection is a liquid metallic eyeshadow in a soft brown with subtle gold sparkle. If you are familiar with Stila liquid eyeshadow, Chanel Ombre Premiere Laque is a more subtle and everyday-friendly version of the iconic metallic eyeshadow. It also has less glitter and more of a glow to it which makes it less statement and more wearable.
When it comes to usage recommendations, I prefer applying a tiny amount on the back of my hand first and then using a fingertip to add a little sparkle in the middle of my eyelid. It also looks mesmerizing if you apply it as a single eyeshadow look all over your lids.
Shades: 46 Lumier is the new launch; also available 22 Rayon, 26 Quartz Rose, 28 Desert Wind, and 32 Vastness.
