Current Beauty Favorites for Combo Skin

It’s been a while since the last time I did a roundup of beauty favorites, and it’s because the concept of putting together “The List” every month is not realistic. When I travel, I feel like I didn’t discover that many new beauty favorites. While during other months, I want to include dozens of products. It’s more realistic to talk about current beauty favorites for the combination skin that I discovered over a few months.

Okay, let’s see the ones I enjoyed so far since the beginning of the year!

Makeup Favorites

YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation // When my friend Amrah recommended me to try a YSL foundation, I immediately went to Sephora and picked up one. As it turned out, I picked not the one she suggested, but I immediately fell in love with my discovery. Ever since then, I’ve been religiously using it every day, and I love how natural it looks on my skin.

La Bouche Rouge Lipstick in Self Service // After a season of liquid lipstick obsession, I finally concluded that the classic hydrating formula is perfect for everyday use. And this particular formula (not to mention the shade) happens to be my absolute favorite. It feels so soft on your lips and looks oh so chic!

NudeStix All Over Face Color in Sunset Strip // Perfect blush for “no makeup” makeup days or when you need to make your face in a matter of moments. Pat it on, blend with your fingertips, and you are all set with a natural-looking blush. Or lipstick as it’s all in one kind of stick.

Velour Effortless False Lashes // Even though I recently published an entire post on these false lashes collection, I wanted to mention it again in this post as I’ve been wearing the style “Mini-Me” non-stop. The best part is that these falsies are super easy to apply!

Skincare Favorites for Combination Skin

Fresh Beauty Black Tea Firming Eye Serum // Even before I turned 30, my under-eye area was the one showing up my age the most. This eye cream features a weightless consistency and a potent mix of skin firming ingredients that make it a must-have for my day and night time routines.

SkinCeuticals Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight Serum // I’ve always been a glycolic toner kind of girl, but this serum is a life-changing! It gently exfoliates the skin while you sleep, so you wake up with a baby soft and glowing complexion.

Dermalogica Prisma Protect SPF 30 // The gentle formula of this sun-protecting moisturizer works not only as your typical sunscreen but also helps with skin luminosity. In other words, it’s like wearing a moisturizer, sunscreen, and glow-enhancing primer – all in one tube. Also, this sunscreen is not breaking out my acne-prone combination skin.

Hydro Peptide Firm-A-Fix Nectar Serum // I’ve been testing this serum for a few weeks and seems to reverse the effects of the gravity on my gentle neck area. I also don’t mind the wrinkle-smoothing effect on my décolletage that the serum provided. Because, hey, summer dresses season is almost here, and I need to be prepared!

Best Body Products and Tools

Body Care and Tools

Borghese Body Cream // This luxurious body butter is the one, and the only reason I’ve been consistent with moisturizing my body this winter. It’s creamy, but not too thick; easy to absorb, but not too watery; smells fantastic, but doesn’t overpowering… What else can I say? I finally discovered my ideal body butter product!

Sundays Nail Polish in L01 // To say that I’ve been wearing this nail color non-stop is to say nothing. It would be more accurate to say that this is my signature nail polish shade – that’s how much I’ve loved it! Oh, almost forgot to mention it looks even better if combined with Londontown KUR Gel Genius Top Coat. Think salon-style gel nail from the comfort of your home.

Laura Mercier Brushes // I did a major Mary Kondo clean-up of my makeup brushes, and LM brushes ones are pretty much the only ones I’ve been using lately. And I’m obsessed!

Weezie Makeup Towels // These are so convenient to use after you wash your face. Not only dark color helps to camouflage any makeup leftovers after you wash your face, but it also looks super cute. I have a set with lashes and another one with hearts, and I literally can’t get enough of these!
