Recently, I’ve been thinking about products that I use the most on a daily basis and I narrowed them down to the list of 10 items. Some of those products are high-end, some are affordable drugstore options. Regardless the price, those are great performing products that are always on top of my shelf as I’m reaching out to them so very often. Okay, without further delay, here is my list of everyday beauty essentials.
Cosmedicine Primary Care Moisturizer SPF 20
I already wrote about this moisturizer in this post and I just want to remind you how wonderful it is for my skin. The product is not clogging my pores while protecting my skin from a damaging effect of the sun. It smells so pleasant and feels so light on my skin—I use it every single day!
It might be a little excessive, but I use primer every single day as it makes my skin glowy and healthy-looking. This particular product contains sun-reflecting ingredients that create an illusion that your skin glows from the inside (it doesn’t make your skin look oily though). Sometimes I also use this product as a highlighter: when applied on top of the foundation, this product makes your skin look so perfect in photos!
This foundation is one of the products I’ve been swearing by for about a year now. It provides natural looking, almost translucent coverage while camouflaging skin imperfections. It doesn’t feel sticky on the skin and it features an impressive SPF 50+ sunblock. I love applying this product with a beauty blender (check out this limited edition light pink beauty blender) or even with my fingertips when I’m limited in time. Regardless the application technique, it always looks perfect!
This concealer and brush set is a perfect combo to camouflage my under eye circles and any skin imperfections I’m dealing with. I actually have to make a confession here stating that I think it’s the best concealer brush I’ve used in a while; it beats even the most luxurious competitors. Same goes for a concealer: it’s cheap, high-performing, and durable—what else to look for in a perfect camouflaging product?
I already reviewed this product in my eyebrows routine post so I just want to mention here that I continue using and loving this kit. Usually, I outline my brows with any brow pencil I feel like using that day, followed by brow powder and pomade from the Seventeen kit. This affordable set is something I’m reaching out to on a daily basis as I’m always ‘doing’ my brows even if I’m not wearing any other makeup.
I use this single eyeshadow when I have no time at all to apply makeup. These shades are so neutral and versatile that those match any lipstick I pick and every outfit I’m wearing. They also are very blendable, so if needed I can simply put on a few drops of pigment on my lids without using a brush (it happens very rarely though, and most of the days I’m using an eyeshadow brush from the essential brushes set by e.l.f. cosmetics).
Seventeen High Drama Liquid Eye Liner
I’ve been using Too Faced Sketch Marker Eyeliner more and more often, but I still love my old good liquid eyeliner by Seventeen. In my opinion, it provides the most color intensive coverage that looks so pretty even if you are not wearing eyeshadows underneath it.
Time flies, new products are introduced to the market, but I still love my old good Lights. Camera. Lashes. mascara! It provides a consistent and beautiful coverage, doesn’t stick my lashes together, and adds lots of volumes. If I had to pick just one product I can’t live without, that would be it—my perfect mascara!
You probably remember that I’m a college student now and I feel that wearing red lipstick every single class might be a bit inappropriate and boring. Saying so, I caught myself picking up this lip pencil more and more often when I’m heading to the class. The reason is that this product is extremely hydrating and naturally-looking. It makes my complexion look a bit brighter but doesn’t ‘steal’ attention from my eyes.
Beach Gal Eye Candy Perfume
This light, very gentle scent is so perfect for everyday use, especially when I’m in the class with people that might be allergic to harsh perfumes. It smells so fresh and sweet at the same time–I don’t feel it on my skin, but people around me often state that they love this fragrance.
