Being a beauty lover, I do not limit myself with purchasing goodies from Sephora and Ulta Beauty only. I also enjoy exploring new beauty launches in the department stores and especially Bloomingdale’s as it’s located in a dangerous proximity to my house. Thanks to ‘Bloomies’ I found one of my favorite toners, explored the benefits of using an anti-aging serum, and fell in love with this luxurious perfume. Today we’ll be reviewing five recent beauty launches that are available for purchase at Bloomingdale’s!

Eve Lom Cleanser

Eve Lom Cleanser is the item I was the most excited to try as I had an eye on this cleanser ever since I spotted the brand in Vogue’s 100 Beauty Hall of Fame. Apparently, it’s one of the hottest new brands and I was dying to give it a try. As expected, the cleansing balm has not disappointed. I used it for the last few days every time after recording makeup tutorials and it was highly effective with melting the makeup and softening my skin. I loved using this new technique of cleaning my skin with the Eve Lom cleanser.

First, you have to massage the product into your skin and then remove it with woven muslin clothes dampen in warm water. This approach to removing makeup reminded me of a shaving procedure that guys receive at the barber shop—no wonder guys have much better skin than girls! It was a new, exciting experience and I’ll definitely continue using this luxurious cleanser on a daily basis.

Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask

Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask is another new favorite product as it helps to clean up my acne-prone skin and balance my oily T-zone. It’s one of those charcoal and clay facial masks that help to shrink pores, detoxify skin, and gently help to clean the impurities. The best thing about this mask is that it take just five minutes to get the job done, while you have to leave many other clay masks on your skin for at least 15 minutes. In other words, it’s a great, convenient to use product that will help to improve the condition of your time without any time sacrifices.

Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eye Shadow

Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eye Shadow came right in time for the fall and winter holidays. It’s a beautiful silver shade glitter that comes on a translucent base which makes this gorgeous eyeshadow a real multitasker. I tried using it both as an eyeshadow (it looks especially beautiful on top of the orange undertone eyeshadow) and as a pigment that I used to create a Pat McGrath-inspired lip look. I’m thinking about incorporating this product while creating my Halloween makeup this year—stay tuned as it will be a fun tutorial to check out.

Missoni Eau de Toilette

Missoni Eau de Toilette is a new fragrance line by the famous Italian high-end fashion brand. Similar to the signature bold print that Missoni is famous for, the design of the fragrance incorporates saturated, vivid colors that will brighten up your perfume collection. The scent of this fragrance somehow reminds me my beloved scent, Chance by Chanel, as it is also one of the feminine and sensual fragrances that are hard to forget.

Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler

Lately, I stopped wearing false lashes as I feel that my natural lashes are getting damaged from all the glue I need to use to attach falsies to my eyelid. In order to create a full lash effect with my natural lashes, I started using an old good eyelash curler. Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler is everything you need in a professional beauty device. It’s made out of light, ergonomically designed steel that allows “catching” your lashes effectively and features super soft rubber pads that prevent lash breakage.
